Me, VHS, & a..... Hooker

Could there be a more non-natural way to start off a tv segment? 

No.  There cannot be. 

It's been a few days since I graced you with my witty and otherwise not very remarkable internet presence. Over the course of my absence not too many life changing events happened, so don't worry.

To catch you up a little: 

-Last weekend I went to Charleston/ Folly Beach for the first time (I plan to go back). I have family down there... not to mention Charleston is busting at the seams with life, culture, art, history, beauty, and this free sample dessert that was to die for. I almost fell over in the shoppe, literally. (Mostly because of the heat....) 

- This weekend I will be having a Girls retreat at the beach with my bestest gal pals.. well most of them. 

- Yesterday I went thrift store shopping with my boyfriend and I got Grease and Shakespeare in Love for $2!! (VHS, but hey! awesome movies.. and I still have a WHS player) 

-Also this weekend with said boyfriend we built a fort in his living room and watched movies. Yes, I said fort. It was awesome!  On pintrest I found these "date night ideas". Most of them are stay at home (a.ka CHEAP ideas. Which is great when your broker than a one legged hooker).

-Today I am going to see "Magic Mike" with two gal pals. Thinking about it, I sorta feel guilty because its Sunday.. Then I dismissed that thought because I don't wanna talk myself out of it. 

Now I'm on a roll and could keep going, but food is ready and I'm hungry. 

ghetto booty hot dog tattoos

so today at Ross, i bought these super tight ghetto booty jeans. i mean, every curve/roll is being rugged and squeezed. 

i'm not sure how well this will go over, but we're gonna try them out. i really bought them because when i wear my rain boots, i want to wear them like the little preppy girls. you know the whole tucked in deal. 

Tuesday is my last day working at the grill. i'd be lying to say i wasn't excited. not that i don't like the people there ( and by that i mean the people that i work with, the customers are a different story..) i'm just ready for something else. i hate slinging hot dogs and cleaning up explosive dookie off the walls. oh the horror. i have another job lined up, which is the main reason i'm leaving the grill. this couple at my church has a curtain shop and have offered me a job there, so i seized the opportunity! i start on Thursday at 10 o'clock :) 

good things come to those who wait.. and believe me, i've been waiting. 

speaking of good things, i'm getting a tattoo. 

hells yea, i'm super excited. 

its going to be the quote "love conquers all" ( yes i know that can be a cheesy quote, but for me its all about the Jesus love, and when you think about it that way.. it's perfect! ) in front of the quote there is going to be a bird cage with the door open and then little birds flying away. it doesn't sound as good as it will look, i promise it will be intense :) 

so speaking of tattoos, if you have a tattoo, why do you have one? if not, let's say you were to get one, what would it be? 

i went shopping with fleetwood mac

my day was really good. i left school and it kinda turned into one of those "i need a drink" days. 

the song "second hand news" by fleetwood mac is by far amazing :) i don't know 100% what they are talking about.. but i know it makes feel good inside and thats good enough for me.

i bought a sweater for 10 dollars. 

and another cardigan.. and some pretty bracelets. and everything was under 10. plus 30% off. oh yea i did good :) 

tim and reliant k in my bed.. say what?!

so me and Tim are just chilling here in bed listening to Reliant K. they are a pretty cool band. if you haven't ever listened to them i encourage you to check them out. (mood rings is my favorite song! however thats not the one i was listening to.) 

the beach was awesome.. shady hotel and all. speaking of said hotel... let me tell you about my bra. 

ok, so technically i bought three including hers..

i have this black one thats my favorite right now ( too much?) anywho i was wearing that and took it off sat night and threw it on the table with the rest of my stuff... on sunday i woke up and showered and just put on my bathing suite. later that day changing back to regular clothes i went to get my favorite black bra.. omg!  i freaking left if at the shady hotel!! went running threw my mind then out of my mouth. i was seriously up tight. yes, i had a spare. i called my mom and told her and she was like oh i got it. 

whew. thank God for moms, right? 

so needless to say the day at the beach was an adventure. i swan like a mermaid, got good sun, did some shopping, and drove a lot. it was awesome. 

shopping is fun.. but it can get you in trouble fast if you have no filtration. i have some but i almost lost it. i went nuts buying sunglasses. i only got two pair, but thats a lot to buy in just one day. 


.. i just had like a super good paragraph wrote.. and Tim keeps getting bumped off the internet.. ughh!! 
maybe this is karma.. humm.. 
i have lost the urge to ramble so i'm not retyping. i may or may not revisit that thought tomorrow. well i just looked at the clock it technically is tomorrow. 


go listen to reliant k and then go to bed.. thats an order!
