Wednesday Boobs

It's only wednesday and I feel like this week has just dddrraaaggggeeeddddd on.

No school, no work, aunt flow is in town (too much? get over it. this is my blog! and this is my issue! just be a good reader and listen...err.. read!), my boyfriend is out of town, world hunger has not been solved, human trafficking is rapid in third world countries, AND I chipped a nail!

Yesterday, however, I ran across something on the internet that made this week a little more tolerable.
I'd tell you about it, but this is one of those things you have to see for yourself

If you laughed your pants off, which I trust you did, there are three more: Transformers, Avatar, and Twilight. I watched these with my mom and I had to pause it and restart  because I was laughing so hard. I had tears in my eyes and my sides hurt, that my friend is a good laugh.

Super-Short Love Story

It's been a few days, so today seemed like a good day to blog.

Weekends are supposed to be the time when you relax and enjoy yourself. Besides New Years', it's the most counted down date known to man.
For me, I wouldn't describe this past weekend as relaxing or enjoyable, bittersweet, maybe.
Friday "some stuff went down" ( you know when people say that Jerry Springer issh is about to happen!).
I won't go into detail about said "stuff", just know it was a sticky situation among friends (money was involved, hence STICKY).
It was one of those situations where you can

A: go off the deep end and ruin relationships that have been the salt to your pepper
or
B: swallow your pride, be responsible, and learn from it

I chose B.
I need the salt to my pepper, and I like to think of myself as a reasonable person... I also hate when people turn things into Jerry Springer Episodes. I may not be the most reasonable person on the planet, but I try to be mature. Which is more than I can say for the guests of Jerry Springer.

After "the stuff" went down..  the genre of my weekend went from trashy reality t.v to a full out romantic drama full length feature presentation.

SAY WHAT?

For the past two months I have been harboring a secret relationship. (Some of you may already know about it, but were sworn to secrecy) I was crucial that we kept it on the down low ( I'll explain why later). WE GOT CAUGHT!

In Jan or Feb I met this guy, who just so happened to by my best friend's cousin. ( talk about keeping it in the family.) At first the thought of anything between us never crossed my mind. There's a lot that goes along with that.
And thinking about it now, it may take two or five post ( from my point of view) to tell you the whole story.
So for now I'll give you the super-short version..

Girl meets Boy.
Friendship blossoms.
Confessions of super fat eight grade crush.
Due to religious differences, agonizing debate on weather to "give this a try".
Decide to "give it a try"!! However, must keep it a secret!
Awkward confessions of Love.
Comfortable confessions of Love.
Confessions of "In Love".
Torrid Love affair caught by hottie boyfriend's family.
Girl feels like she is going to be sick.
Boy, calmly, takes care of it.
Change of FB relationship status!!

You think that's a lot? Wait for the full length feature post.
If you go to my FB, you will see who he is.
I can't describe how wonderful he is. Honestly, if you saw how sappy I might get, you might think I've lost my mind. Hell sometimes when I analyze this whole thing, I feel like I've lost my mind.

But that's ok..

I expect better of myself.

Over the course of the day I haven't done much, just to be honest with you.
(This blog is supposed to be about me and my journey through life... at least that's what I think it's supposed to be about. )
Sometimes I surprise myself at how lazy I can be. Which we all knew that, didn't we?
My room is a complete disaster. Clothes, clean clothes, are in a pile on the floor, the dirty clothes hamper is full again, my closet kinda exploded on itself and my table and dresser... let's not even go there.
My bathroom needs cleaning.. not to mention all the stuff that STILL needs to be done for my sister's wedding on SATURDAY!
I can't start talking about that or I'll be here all night.

You're probably wondering why I'm blogging instead of cleaning my room or cleaning out wine bottles for the wedding. Stop wondering that! I was messing on the computer and here I am.
Don't give me that look you know you love spending time with me :)

Due to certain circumstances I haven't been working a lot lately and school is out, so I haven't been doing much which makes me feel extra lazy! I've kinda gotten into the habit of sleeping a lot and... well that's about it. Sleeping. A lot.
I'm hoping that once work picks back up I'll have more motivation and not feel like such a waste of space. Plus I'll have some cash flow. Which is always a good sign. "Love that money!" to quote Ricky Bobby.
I think I can handle work starting back, but I'll admit I'm not ready for school. I finally got everything squared away, classes scheduled and financial aid done. But I'm not mentally prepared.
Last semester threw me for a loop, to say the least. This summer break I plan on getting myself back on track and ready to tackle school. I had a long talk with myself, well I've had several talks with myself, and I expect better of myself!

i'm not doing my homework

To the eight people out there that read this.. thank you. i feel like i don't say that enough.

and when i'm not doing my homework (accepting the fact that i'm going to take a bad grade) by goofing off, reading blogs about cats and fashion... you are feeding that fire. thank you.
now you feel bad because i'm going to get a bad grade... or maybe you feel disappointed in me because of my lack of motivation.
don't.
it's my own fault. and i have good reason...

this is my homework...

there is a painting of some dude painting ( yes a painting of somebody painting!) the virgin mary nursing baby Jesus... why?!!? why does this exist?!!!
In general, how would you use these images as evidence of the worldview of the fifteenth century? What do they tell us about people's attitudes, emotions, and values?
What?!
well apparently the worldview of the 15th century is warped! i don't know. and i kinda don't care. the thought of babies being nursed makes me queasy... then put Jesus in that equation and now I'm just beyond uncomfortable. Plus I didn't even read the chapter, so I have no idea what's going on in 15th century art. And what the heck is a motif?

i'm dropping out of college and joining the circus. i'm serious.

50 page views in NC

The stats say that I had over 50 page views last month.
I'm pretty sure those were people who just stumbled on this page by mistake because no content worth reading has been added in months.

School is almost over!!
I'm at a point now where I feel like i've wasted my first year of college.
I started off this semester this semester with four classes. I got kicked out of my online class because I didn't keep up with assignments. When I got to be about two weeks behind the teacher said I didn't have time to catch up and receive a good grade, so he instructed an instructor's drop. Then during my melt-down I got behind in my english class, not to mention got totally unfocused and off track. So I dropped that class.
Yes, I am well aware that I took the easy way out. But it was better than taking an F, right?
Nothing I can do about it now.
Ao, now I'm down to two classes. Western civ and Acting I.
Yes, my life is sooooooo hard.

Any Who..
Ohh yes, on the subject of school, I believe I made a decision about Missouri.
I think I've decided to stay in NC, but I don't think I'm ready to quite admit it to myself.
And again, yes, I know that makes no since.. but.. well.. you know..

I changed the background... like the birds?! :)

I'm not a russian spy!

wow.. there for a second it was like i forgot i had a blog.
Christmas is over with! now.. let's move on.

WAIT!
i know what you're waiting for...
who won the present contest? *drumroll*
MOM!!
we all knew that was coming.. but i still wanted to announce it.
Good job mommy, and thank you ever so much for the amazing gifts!
She took the lead, hands down, with the record player. But then kicked the game into overtime by surprising me with a Kindle.
whew.. ok. now it's over.

i took personal time to reflect on 2011, however, i don't feel the need to go over my reflections with you. that what this whole freaking blog is about.. you going on the journey with me, so i don't have to boo whoo at the end of the year. you can just read previous posts. also i didn't bother with making a resolution, as i noticed many people did not do this year. i think everybody is starting to realize that's a very dumb thing to do because by Feb most people have already stopped going to the gym and smoked 20 packs of ciggs, so the whole resolution is down the toilet.

not having to go to school or work has been amazing, but all good things must come to an end. i go back to work tomorrow and school starts on Monday. Which i'm excited about: new semester, new classes ( acting class!!), new people.. and by new people i mean new boys to gawk at ;D

washing machines and plan B

yes, yes the background is washing machines.
why washing machines?
because i thought it was awesome! they have a whole slew of pictures to choose from.. you can even choose one of your own, which is amazing!
everything is subject to change.. i was trying stuff out. there were a lot of this (design template wise) that i hadn't messed around with in a while. i wanted to catch a power nap before class, but that doesn't seem like it will happen. plus i have issues with sleeping sitting up.
(i have issues with everything)
i'm hungry... i didn't really eat breakfast this morning and i'm feeling it now. by not really eating i mean, i had a cupcake but that does't really count.

so the library at school does this really awesome thing where they , i assume clean house per say, and give away old books for free. there is a huge stack of them by the door. i was going to check it out on my in, but there was this girl grading it with her life so i decided to hit it up on the way out.
i love libraries :) if this whole youth ministry thing doesn't work out, my back up plan is a librarian.
which i'm sure it will work out.. but its always safe to have a plan B.
have to ever noticed how many times a post i say BUT. i have.
i know its annoying.. i can contradict everything i say. not to sound cocky,  but doesn't that just make me a good thinker? that i can see both sides..err however many sides there are to things.
any who..
time for me to go readers.

what's your plan B?

a librarian and a English teacher walk into a bar...

i'm just going to pitch a tent and move into the library. not that i'm complaining.. i love the library :)
as i've said before, i often fantasize about being a librarian.

today i didn't have my western civ class. we were supposed to come to the library and look up topics for our research paper. i went to eat lunch with Rachel and one of her cooking chums. now i'm in the library checking Facebook, blogging, and then! i will start working on school work. ( you can clearly see where my priorities lay.. esp., since i'm listening to music on top of all of that)

i'm not quite sure what i set out to blog about, however, isn't that the beauty of this blog? most of the time there is no point and you still enjoy reading it. and if there is no point, sometimes i find a point in the midst of typing away like a crazy women.
we have been going over comma's in English for the past week. worksheets, lecture's, the whole nine yards. it struck a thought in me.. what would my teacher say if he read my blog?
would he freak out and have a heart attack because of all the grammar errors i make? not to mention all the misspelled words. not saying i'm going to ask or try to clean my act up on here.. well maybe a little. i mean if i do ever decide to seriously write something, i'm sure good grammar will come in handy. but who knows? i can't even get two pages into a story without boring myself to tears. i'm not very good at making up stories.
now a lie, that's a different story;)

passing out in the traffic circle

"pot should be legalized!"
yep she went there. my professor that is. i thought i was going to choke.. but she went on the explained how it would put more money into the system if you tax it and stuff. if you think about it, she made a really good point.

so that gives you a brief insight to my first day as a college student. it was almost surreal. walking around and going to classes i felt like i didn't belong at first.. eventually i got into the groove of it and it was amazing. finally its here. the next step. i have grown up a bit. i felt really good. i was grinning like a mule practically the whole day.
i've know this for a while now but i worry about the dumbest things. i was literally surprised at how smooth my day went yesterday... that was until i LEFT SCHOOL AND GOT LOST ON THE WAY HOME!  how does that happen? you're probably asking yourself. well first let me point out that school is in the next county over and i'm not familiar with the whole area.. plus the devil lives there... the traffic circle. getting to school is no problem, its leaving thats difficult. i always take the wrong exit. you'd think i'd learn by now.. but i haven't.

i haven't been keeping up with this as faithfully as i've wanted to.. i know the few people who read this are heartbroken. i love you guys, don't stop reading! this is just a dry spell with all the transitions going on. transitions being: coming home from the mission trip, going back to work, and starting school and within 3 days. i think it all caught up with me yesterday, i kept getting dizzy and feeling like i was going to faint. that was trippy. i've never fainted and from the looks of it i don't want to. i thought about that yesterday.. what would happen if  i was walking around campus and all of a sudden i just fell out on the sidewalk.. somebody better help me up! i couldn't help but laugh at myself.

BLT's and Tim

"this is the story of a girl, who cried a river and drowned the whole world.."
sometimes i crack myself up. when i open my blog i see the title and i start singing that song. its like an automatic reaction for my brain.

oh really sir, you'd like lettuce and tomato on your BLT. how creative.
thats how work has been for me the past few days.
i actually had to work on saturday and it was overall good. the day went by fast and it was productive.
plus last week i worked like 7 days straight and worked full shifts. my paycheck was pretty nice.. not to brag :)

i am hanging out at some friends' house and i just got done shoving my face with some sort of mexican food ordeal. it was delicious. i am full.

is any of this noteworthy?
like why would you want to read about me eating and being full?
i'm awesome. thats why.
and someday when i'm famous and excerts from these blogs are in books and magazines you have bragging rights saying that you knew that first!
i give you permission now.

still no wireless internet at the home front. however, a friend of mine informed me that i could just take the ethernet cord and plug into Tim and BAM! Connected!
i don't know why i didn't think of that earlier.
i'll try that later and get back with you on the results :)

Tim and Jesus

no.. i have not fallen off the face of the earth. i'm sure you were thinking that seeing as how its been like 4 days since i've posted.
things have just been a little crazy the past few days.. plus i still don't have freaking internet at my house!!!!! curse time warner cable!
right now i'm sitting outside  ( literally) of my church using the wifi to transfer music from my friend's computer to tim.. ahh right.
Tim.
Thats what  I decided to call my computer. half because thats my favorite former teachers name who got me into mac's. and plus thats a cool smart name.
any who its hot as balls out here.
i'm ready to go sit in the coolness and eat food and then praise Jesus. seriously.. i'm at youth group. thats what we do :)

tough dog

i feel obligated to post..
not sure why. i guess cause most days i blog everyday and for the past few days there has been nothing for my nine followers to feast on. so sad, i know.

so i'm pretty sure this job i have is official. unless i screw up and get fired. ( i hope not, but it is a possibility)
i've only been there a week so i'm really not used to it. but it sure is better than sitting home all the time( well for the most part anyway) my role model for this job is spongebob. he's a fry cook, i'm a grill cook. the similarities are uncanny. yesterday i was so sleepy. i was just barely moving along, so i keep tuning my inner sponge so i could get the job done. when it was time to go, i flew out of there.
speaking of yesterday, during the mad rush of lunch, this old fart came in and got a hotdog with mustard, chili, and slaw. i fixed the hotdog, gave it to him and he was gone. a little while later the same guy comes up with a half eaten hotdog and throws it on the counter going on about something. i didn't hear exactly what he was yelling about , but apparently the hotdog was "tough" and he was so upset that he didn't get a 5 star wiener at a gas station. tisk tisk.
this was me during the hotdog fiasco
